Background

Head Coach, Kyle Densley has been involved with volleyball for 35 years, both as a player and a coach. He participated in four Junior Olympic championships (75-78), traveled with the Junior National Team in 1978 throughout the US and Canada and played in the Junior World Championships in Hilo, Hawaii in 1978. He has coached at both the high school and university level. In 1981, he was assistant Junior Varsity Coach under the direction of Elaine Michalas and Tom Peterson at Brigham Young University. He is currently the head volleyball coach at Green River Community College. In his first year with the college he led his team to a 13-0 season for the western region. Clinching 1st place in the western region gives them the #1 seed at the NWAACC Championship in Spokane this November 16-18th. Go gators!

Coach Kyle’s personal philosophy is to help young athletes become the best that they are capable of becoming, both on the volleyball court and off. Of his staff, Coach Kyle says “Our coaching staff is very aware of the impact that teachers and coaches have on young minds. We view this as a privilege and responsibility. Prepare your athletes to come to our club with a willingness to give 100% and they will enjoy a positive, supportive, and nurturing environment to learn, not only volleyball skills but also, the life lessons that are so often revealed through participation in sports.”
